Developing further the spectacular and highly entertaining style of DREAMER IN SPACE, this show combines black- light and other puppetry techniques to create spectacular images and adventures beneath the ocean's surface.  

Dreamer is an adorable comic, puppet character who combines the qualities of a cautious adventure with those of an amateur scientist. Being puppet theatre, imagination is freed to make the whole adventure much more magical and entertaining whilst keeping the subject matter accurate.

Dreamer's bedroom metamorphoses into an ocean going yacht in a harbour. Guided by sea creatures, Dreamer sails out into the ocean. Reminiscent of Jacques Cousteau's boat, “Calypso”, Dreamer's yacht produces everything from diving suites to mini-submarines allowing Dreamer to explore the Australian coastal waters and further down to the deepest parts of the ocean. At each level and location, we discover the life-forms, habitats and conditions that create such an amazing diversity of sea creatures, from very small to very large. We even meet an accordion-playing crab and an opera-singing shrimp.

DREAM PUPPETS combines all this in a theatrical framework and brilliantly devised style that has been experienced to great acclaim all around Australia, in Korea, Japan, Israel, Singapore and the largest children's theatre festival in Europe; I TEATRI DEL MONDO in Italy, 2002.?
